Hurricane seminar

Hurricane season begins June 1, and the Town of Oak Island is hosting its second-annual Hurricane Conference to help residents learn more about being prepared. Town staff will share details about how Town services function before, during, and after a storm, and representatives from partner agencies will have information about preparing for a hurricane and what services may be available after the storm. The conference will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019, from 6 – 9 p.m. in Council Chambers (second floor) at Town Hall (4601 E. Oak Island Drive).

Residents are encouraged to attend and ask questions. There will also be information booths set up with information available to take home.
