The Oak Island Nature Center is located at the end of NE 52nd and Yacht Drive. It is operated by the Oak Island Parks & Recreation Department seasonally. It offers live animal exhibits as well as other nature exhibits and programs. The grounds around the center has trails with talking trees and walkways to the water.
