Mission Statement: The Oak Island Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing recreation and community service in the broadest possible scope to meet the recreational, cultural and human service needs and interests of people of all ages and abilities.
The Oak Island Parks and Recreation Department has several divisions to cover a variety of recreational needs for residents and visitors, including athletics; activities and programs for all ages; health and wellness efforts; fitness programs; and various parks and recreational areas and facilities.
We work hard to help our residents and visitors get the most out of the beautiful natural resources we enjoy at Oak Island. With so many ways to get out and be active, we know there is something for everyone.
